Famous Bird

Famous Bird cocktail icon

Flavor Profile: Tropical, smoky, citrusy, bittersweet

Famous Bird is a layered Jungle Bird riff that spins out of a remix on another remix. Originally based on Matthias Soberon’s mashup of the Jungle Bird and Last Word, this version from Kelly Glancy nudges closer to the “Almost Famous” by dialing up the tropical flair and dialing down the bitterness.

With mezcal, yellow Chartreuse, Aperol, pineapple, and lime, it balances smoke and sweetness with a soft bitter note — a modern tiki drink with a lot of personality.
